2010/09/21 i’m a PCV now.

First things first, HI MRS JANZ!!!!!! The best stalker PC mom!!!!
So training is over.  It is sad.  My host family was awesome.  My hostmom really taught me some life skills for Madagascar, like how to sass people and how to eat fish properly here.  We had the thank you community dinner on Friday the 17th and all of the families came to the training center and we had some speeches and what not.  We got classy gouty too, like samosas, little pizzas, shrimps, potato chips that I’m pretty sure were homemade, class time.  I’ve spent the past few days watching as much tv (dvds) as possible, ripping as much stuff from other people’s computers as possible.  In general four days of staying in bed like a lazy piece of crap.  We watched an episode of how I Met Your Mother and they talked about going to a charity dinner to help a kid in the third world get his malaria pills, and it reminded us to take our lariam.  It is pretty awesome to rewatch How I Met Your Mother and I have all seasons of Weeds on my computer now, so when Season 6 finishes up can someone send it to me on a flashdrive? THANKS.  Can someone send me Dexter (I have season 4).
But regardless, my Peace Corps life is going to start soon and it is slightly frustrating seeing as how I have already been here for a long time and it is just the beginning of the countdown to September 29, 2012.  But I am a legit volunteer now.
