So in case you didn’t read the news there was a coup attempt or maybe a bluffed coup attempt? Who knows.  We weren’t allowed to leave our sites for a week per PC request until everyone figured out what the hell was going on.  But the positive was that you couldn’t really tell that anything was going on politically (which is also bad if you consider that I live in a fairly large town and no one had any clue as to what was going on).  I believe the referendum votes have come in and the vote was 75% in favor of the changes.  To the best of my knowledge the main constitutional change was to lower the required presidential age which would benefit the current HAT president aka former DJ.  This guy was in my town two weeks ago as well holding a rally.  I luckily was not in town and was in Fianar really frustrated because the internet was down and I travelled for nothing but to immediately go back to the station and get on a brousse headed back.
